Molecular Biology - in a true sense is a vast, modern and rapidly expanding subject and relates the living biological systems with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics. It is often very difficult to convey all its essentials to the undergraduate pass level students who sometimes do not have requisite backgrounds, hence we have taken a midway approach - we try our best to explain to the students about the fundamentals of the subject.
The following technical processes,
(i) to detect colour blindness,
(ii) estimation of blood sugar
(iii) determination of blood groups are some of the special processes we have set up in the laboratory.
We are also trying to set up more experimental techniques in our laboratory which may be useful to the society in the near future.
